👋🏽 Hi! I’m Aanika🙋🏾♀️a Tulsa local who loves all things multicultural. After a decade of giving recommendations to various people, I decided to write down the list in my head which took longer than I imagined.
I’ve always wanted a one-stop-shop online for all things international/global culture-related in my hometown. Since I couldn’t find one, I finally decided to create one myself. I’ve eaten at and attended almost every event listed here at least once, with a few exceptions.
This guide offers an insider’s view of the city’s international flavors, cultural celebrations, and diverse communities. Whether you’re a resident or visitor, I hope you find this guide helpful in immersing yourself in Tulsa’s international flavors, sights, and sounds.

Example: there are more than three Mexican and Japanese restaurants in town, but only one Indonesian and Burmese.
